Race packs will be available to pick up on race morning from the registration tent. Please remember to bring a race belt and your BTF licence.

BTF Licences

The day licence for Non-BTF members is included in the entry price if you click this option. If you are a BTF Member, please ensure that you complete your licence number accurately during the registration process. All licence numbers will be validated by BTF before the event and any entrants with an invalid BTF licence number will be asked to show an online copy at registration or, if this is not possible, invoiced £6 for a day license after the event.

There will be an online race briefing made available before the event and on the day of the event.

Please arrive in sufficient time to collect your race number.

This course is perfect for both beginners and experienced racers. You won't find another course like it in the UK. Fast, not technical and easy to follow. The duathlon will consist of:

Sprint distance: 5km run - 20km bike - 5km run

Super sprint distance: 2.5km run - 10km bike - 2.5km run

RUN 1

Either 1 (super sprint) or 2 (sprint) laps of the yellow line clockwise in the diagram below. There will be marshals on the few corners that there are but you really can't go wrong! Just follow the path.

BIKE

Either 2 (super sprint) or 4 (sprint) laps of the red line on the diagram below. Just follow the road round! It's really that simple.

RUN 2

A 1 lap out and back. You will exit transition the same way you entered in Run 1 but will follow the same course in an anti clockwise direction this time. Towards the end of the lap, instead of carring on to the start/finish you will turn back on yourself back to the finish. The super sprint turn around will be earlier than the sprint and clearly signed and marsaheld.

Spectators are allowed at events and we hope you will bring your supporters along to cheer you on. There will be a food truck as well as refreshments andtoilet facilities.

Health
It is important that you are fit to run and have not experienced any Covid-19 symptoms in the days leading up to the event.

Race Numbers
Please wear your number pinned to the front and back of your top or alternatively, using a race belt, rotate the race number to the back for the bike leg and the front for the run leg. A limited number of race belts will be available to buy at the event village on race day.

Parking
Parking available – traffic marshals will sign you on arrival.

Traffic Free?
Yes! Both the run and bike are traffic free.

Changing Facilities
We will not be providing a changing area, therefore please come changed and ready to race.

Baggage Drop
Yes - there will be a simple bag drop area under a gazebo that will be marshalled at all times. Please not you are leaving your belongings at your own risk and we are not responsible for any damage or loss.

Toilets
Yes - We will make sure to provide more toilets than nessesarry to limit those pre race nerve queues!

Aid Station
There will be an aid station on the run route with water and limited nutrition. There will also be water and snacks available at the finish. All litter must be carried or deposited in the bins on the course.

Your name, date of birth, gender and email details will be passed onto The event chip timing company.

Where specified on the booking form any medical information will be passed onto the medical team present at the event.

1) I am over the age of 18.

2) I declare that I am medically fit to compete & understand that I do so entirely at my own risk.

3) I understand that I enter the race at my own risk and that no person(s) or organisation(s) will be held responsible for any accident, injury or loss to myself, prior to, during or after the event.

4) I understand the organisers reserve the right to alter the arrangements and conditions, should circumstances require.

5) By entering this event, the athlete indicates acceptance of British Triathlon rules.

6) By entering this event, the athlete understands their relevant information will be shared with the medical provider, governing sports body and any other 3rd party deemed necessary by The Tri Guys for the safe running of the event.
